Certificate - Medical Insurance Billing and Coding Specialist
Earning a certificate in our Medical Billing and Insurance Specialist program can prepare individuals to work in medical offices, insurance companies, and other health-related fields. Courses begin with medical office basics and an introduction to medical coding and then move to advanced ICD-9-CM/CPT Coding to familiarize the student with the language and techniques associated with this specialized field. Students will also participate in an externship to help prepare them for their new career.
