Westwood College is an institution of higher learning founded in Denver, Colorado in 1953. Today, Westwood has three campuses in Texas in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston. Westwood College - Texas is an institution of higher learning offering Associate, Bachelor's, and Master of Arts and Science degrees and is a nationally accredited school. Also, Westwood has housing services at the majority of our campuses, in addition to other critical student resources like research labs, computers, and libraries.

Westwood College describes itself as a career oriented school designing curriculum and experiences around the development of graduates that will be well prepared to take their place in the working world. Within the College there are six schools offering a variety of majors and degrees:
- The School of Technology offers programs in IT development, Security, Network Management, and Gaming Design.
- The School of Business offers Business Administration programs with specializations in Marketing, Management, Finance and Accounting, and Healthcare.
- The School of Design offers programs in Animation, Graphic and Web Design, Game Art, Interior Design, Visual Communications, and Computer-aided Design.
- The School of Justice offers a program in Criminal Justice and also Paralegal Studies.
- The School of Healthcare trains Medical Assistants and also offers a program in Medical Coding and Billing.
- The School of Industrial Science offers a program in Surveying and Automotive Technology
