AS - Surgical Technology
Our associate degree program in Surgical Technology trains students in operating and laboratory procedures to assist surgeons in the operating room. Students will also study anatomy and physiology of the human body, sterilization and set-up of instruments, application of surgical dressings, and preparation and aftercare of patients. Graduates will get hands-on experience while they complete an externship in a medical facility. -
BS - Health Services Management
This program is designed for the individual who wishes to complete a health-based interdisciplinary studies Bachelor of Science degree on a full-time or part-time basis for upward career mobility or to respond to employer requests for broadened health-services skills. This degree will support an expanded professional role with stronger communication skills, enhanced assessment skills, and the ability to better understand and respond to an increasingly diverse community.
Students enrolled in the program choose from an array of daytime and evening courses. A maximum of 90 credits can be transferred. Graduates may find mid-level management positions in healthcare organizations including hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory care centers, and home health agencies.
In response to the needs of the healthcare industry, graduates of this program should be able to
