Associate - Combination Welding Technology
Our associate degree in Combination Welding Technology program will teach students how to build everything from skyscrapers to submarines–maybe even satellite launch pads. Practical applications of welding, namely, oxyacetylene, metallic arc, tungsten inert gas (TIG), and metal inert gas (MIG) are included in the program. Classroom instruction also includes welding theory and how to read blueprints to complete the jobs. Graduates should be qualified as entry-level welders and fabricators who work in general fabrication, shipbuilding, pipeline welding, and the aircraft industry.

Students will practice welding in the vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions using a variety of current welding equipment.

Earning a diploma to become an Electrical Mechanic can prepare students to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems in new or existing structures. Students will be prepared for a variety of career options in residential, commercial, and industrial construction. Our Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Mechanic diploma program can teach students how to work year round in climate control management. Mechanics must have knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and wiring diagrams for both heating and cooling systems to install, diagnose, maintain, and repair existing systems. Graduates can work in residential, commercial, and new installation of systems.
