M.A. in Education/Adult Education and Training
The Master of Arts in Education/Adult Education and Training degree program prepares students with the skills needed to work with adult learners. Coursework focuses on adult learning theory, the needs of diverse learners, critical issues and trends in adult education and training, instructional design and strategies, the use of technologies, and assessment and learning. Each student/applicant is responsible for checking with his or her state Department of Education and/or school district to determine specific credentialing requirements. Prospective candidates should hold a bachelor's degree prior to enrollment.
