Students at the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts will receive a quality education that can lead to a promising career in design. In order to get into the school students need to have a high school diploma or GED and they must be interviewed by an admissions counselor before they are admitted into the school. But after that students will be able to choose from a number of programs including 3-D animation, web development, digital filmmaking, and graphics and web design. And they also have the option to choose between the Washington D.C. or Boston, MA campus. So students can receive a quality education but also live in an exciting city that has limitless opportunities for professionals.
Students will be able to earn a degree from an accredited and well known institution and receive instruction from teachers that spent time in the classroom as well as the working world. They understand the important balance between academics and experience which gives graduates an advantage because they not only have the knowledge, but they know how to apply and use that in their careers. And once students have graduated from the program they will be able to take advantage of the career development programs that help students revise their resumes, portfolios, and improve their interviewing skills. Plus, they have a service which helps employers and graduates connect. While the school can't guarantee employment, they connect students with professionals in the community in the hopes that they will have successful careers in digital art fields.
