The diploma in the Medical Assistant program teaches the students how to communicate with patients and how to be a liaison between the physician and the patient. Students who earn a diploma in our Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program can work in a variety of health care settings including doctor's offices, hospitals, and insurance companies as they document the services and update the records of patient's care provided. Accurate coding and billing procedures can make a difference in the office reimbursement practice, and ensure that patient's records are up-to-date.
