Diploma - Medical Assisting
The Medical Assisting diploma program can provide focused students with the chance to learn the skills necessary to be responsible for a range of high-level front- and back -office functions. Medical assistants' responsibilities range from front office work such as appointment setting, telephone usage, insurance billing and coding, and transcribing physician notes. Back office tasks the student can work to acquire include assisting in taking vital signs, EKGs, assisting in minor office surgery, phlebotomy, and other duties associated with assisting medical professionals.
