B.S. in Accounting
Earning a bachelor's degree in Accounting can prepare individuals for various career opportunities working in business, government, or non-profit organizations. Along with fundamental accounting principles and practices courses, our program also prepares students to sit for the Certified Managerial Accounting (CMA) exam as well as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in those states not requiring the fifth year of education. Learners will also enhance critical thinking skills, utilize current technology to analyze information, and understand the ethical and legal guidelines that govern the conduct of accountants in the workplace. Successful graduates can seek certifications as CMAs and/or CPAs to increase their marketability.
