Our associate degree in Applied Information Technology program of study prepares graduates for various entry-level positions in the information system field with a balanced overview of technology in the major core. Students are encouraged to work with their advisors to design a program in their area of interest and their technology-related certifications, which may be in Microsoft networking, Cisco networking, or other technical disciplines. Graduates may qualify for positions such as network administrators, network engineers, or other technical positions.
Earning a bachelor's degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Management Information Systems combines IT specialization with business, finance, management, and accounting courses to prepare graduates to assume leadership positions overseeing modern business operations. Some of the positions graduates may qualify for are systems analysts, computer center managers, and sales and marketing representatives, to name a few.
