Our associate degree in Applied Information Technology program of study prepares graduates for various entry-level positions in the information system field with a balanced overview of technology in the major core. Students are encouraged to work with their advisors to design a program in their area of interest and their technology-related certifications, which may be in Microsoft networking, Cisco networking, or other technical disciplines. Graduates may qualify for positions such as network administrators, network engineers, or other technical positions.
Earning a bachelor's degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Microsoft Network Management prepares individuals to manage systems and provide technical support as they oversee corporate multi-computer networking systems. Courses begin with a solid background of computer applications that solve the information technology needs of organizations. Learners will then focus on mastering the designing, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting involved in Microsoft networking. Graduates of the program will be prepared to take the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) exam which is recognized as an industry-standard certification.
