Earning an associate degree in Paralegal Studies introduces learners to basic paralegal skills such as how to conduct legal research, prepare documents for attorneys, and interview clients and other parties of interest in legal matters. This program will also provide students with fundamental knowledge of substantive and procedural law and help them develop critical thinking skills to enable them to analyze problems by identifying and evaluating alternative solutions.

ith the bachelor's in Paralegal Studies, students will learn how to, under the supervision of an attorney, interview clients and witnesses; draft court pleadings and other legal documents; perform legal research; investigate medical, police, and other records; attend hearings; assist in trial preparations; and assist at trial. This program takes 4 years or less to complete.
