As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you'll also learn essential support activities such as admitting patients, maintaining charts and scheduling appointments. With Medical Coding and Billing training, you'll focus specifically on the financial and insurance related aspects of the medical office while learning the medical codes necessary to process Medical Insurance or simply to translate a doctors' diagnosis. Students in the Medical Assistant program will train to work with doctors, caregivers, and directly interact with patients in various settings. Our campuses have a Doctor's Office Classroom (DOC) that have current medical office equipment and laboratories for hands-on training.

In our Medical Coding and Billing program you will learn both medical office procedures and the specific medical codes to properly bill insurance claims and maintain patient's records. Learning the codes for billing is an essential skill that will be used daily in health care or insurance offices. Graduates will have many options to choose from in this in-demand career path.

Students can prepare for a career in Nursing as they study the fundamental principles and practices of patient care, infection control, and pharmacology. Students will learn medical terminology, human biology, extended care, and more as they complete the comprehensive curriculum that can prepare them to qualify and sit for the Practical Nursing License Examination.
