Associate of Applied Science in Dental Administrative Assistant
Our Dental Administrative Assistant Associate of Applied Science degree program prepares you to function effectively as an integral member of the dental health team in the operation of a dental practice. You will learn the administrative procedures currently practiced in dental settings through instruction in the campus dental lab and through internships in private practices. In addition to possessing the specialized skills of a chair-side assistant, the dental administrative assistant is capable of managing appointment scheduling, updating records, written communication, preventive programs, accounts receivable, dental insurance, expenses, and disbursements. You will be able to work in private dental offices, managed care organizations, long-term care facilities, federal, state and municipal health facilities.

Our Occupational Therapy Associate of Applied Science degree program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Lincoln College of New England's Certificate program in Dental Chairside Assistant prepares the student to become a highly skilled dental chairside assistant and to function effectively as an integral member of a professional dental team. Students are taught dental chairside assisting and related office and laboratory procedures under direct professional supervision.
The program is well established and highly recognized as it is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and has been granted the accreditation status, "approved without reporting requirements." Lincoln College of New England also holds an institutional membership with The American Dental Education Association.

Lincoln College of New England's Certificate in Medical Assistant program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to adapt to a challenging, ever-changing work environment. Students will receive hands-on training by industry experienced instructors which will provide the skills required to assist physicians and patients in both front and back office procedures. Courses will cover medical laws and ethics, aseptic techniques, hands-on patient interaction, taking vital signs, and interviewing patients prior to exams. Graduates can work in a variety of health care settings upon completion of the program.
