The certificate in Back Office Medical Assistant program is geared to help students gain the skill set needed to perform various back office duties such as preparing patients to see the doctor, interviewing patients, taking and charting vital signs, and administering injections. Graduates will also learn how to sterilize equipment and sanitize the examination rooms between visits for maximum protection against spreading infections.

The certificate in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program provides students with the skills to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular sonography examinations. Students study hemodynamics, Doppler technique, echocardiography, and sonography. Graduates will be able to seek entry-level positions after completing this hands-on learning program.

Earning a certificate in Diagnostic Vascular Sonography prepares students to become entry-level diagnostic vascular sonographers who are qualified to provide patient services using diagnostic techniques under the supervision of a licensed doctor of medicine or osteopathy. Courses are presented with an integration of didactic, laboratory, and clinical experiences to prepare graduates to become skilled professionals that assist physicians in gathering data necessary to reach diagnostic decisions.
