Students will be able to type a minimum of 45 wpm, utilize the 10-key by touch, and will possess Microsoft© Word©, Excel©, PowerPoint©, Access©, and Office Systems Skills©.

Diploma - Baking and Pastry Specialist
The Baking and Pastry Specialist program at the Institute of Technology will give students the culinary skills that are needed to bake breads, cakes, specialty breads and desserts, chocolates, tarts and torts. Graduates will have met the American Culinary Certification for ServSafe.

Diploma - Computerized Accounting
The Computerized Accounting program at the Institute of Technology will give students QuickBooks Pro, accounting skills for bank reconciliation, payroll, and management of accounts payables and receivables to satisfy entry-level bookkeeping requirements. The program also includes word processing and spreadsheet skills to prepare learners for the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification.

Diploma - Culinary Arts Professional
The Culinary Arts Professional program will teach students the concepts of the food service industry to prepare them to work as a professional chef, dessert specialist, catering manager, restaurant manager, or food and beverage manager. With extensive classroom and hands-on experience in our culinary lab learners will create pastry and baking goods, develop and hone their kitchen skills, create French and Classic Cuisine presentations, and participate in a 180-hour externship in a professional kitchen. Graduates will have gained the skills and confidence to begin their careers in the culinary and food service industry as professionals with skills, knowledge, and experience.

Diploma - Culinary Arts Specialist
The Culinary Arts Specialist program at the Institute of Technology will teach students the concepts of the food service industry, create pastry and baking goods, develop and hone their kitchen skills, discover the arts of Garde Manager, create French and Classic Cuisine presentations and participate in a five-week externship in a professional kitchen. Upon graduation, students will have met the American Culinary Certification standards for Safety and Sanitation, Supervisory Management and Nutritional Certifications.

Diploma - Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program at the Institute of Technology will teach students how to install, maintain, and service heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration units. As a graduate from our HVAC program, you will have skills and knowledge required to enter this growing field as an entry-level technician in both residential and commercial construction. Along with your new skill set, a tool kit with the tools needed to work in the HVAC industry is included with the cost of the program.

Diploma - Human Resource Administrator
The Human Resource Administrator diploma program at the Institute of Technology will teach students about federal and state law relating to labor, health, safety, security, and worker's compensation regulations. The program focuses on counseling employees on benefits and training of personnel in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines that apply to small or large companies.

The Medical Billing/Coding Specialist program at the Institute of Technology will teach students about Medical Manager Software Applications, ICD-9 and CPT4 coding, medical and dental terminology, and insurance billing forms. Graduates will have the skills that have become increasingly important in the management and processing of medical billing reports.

The Medical Office Administration program at the Institute of Technology will teach students about anatomy and physiology and a strong foundation of medical and pharmaceutical terminology. Graduates will receive instruction in medical billing and collections, medical ethics and public relations.

The Network Support Technician program at the Institute of Technology will teach students how to trouble shoot network problems, as well as install and configure hardware and software components. This course will prepare students for their A+ and Net+ Certifications.

The Pharmacy Technician program at the Institute of Technology will teach students how to order, stock, package, and prepare medications. Students will be trained in communication and interpersonal skills will be presented. Individuals will be able to provide health care and medications to patients.

The Professional Medical Assistant program at the Institute of Technology will teach students clinical lab procedures, updating patient medical records, medical manager software, scheduling appointments, and medical terminology. Our personal and professional instructors will help learners develop the knowledge and skill base in the clinical and administrative duties necessary for them to be ready to enter this most exciting field.

The Web and Graphics Design program at the Institute of Technology will teach students color, texture, perspective, and composition. They will learn layout principles, terminology, typography, and file types and qualities will be covered. Graduates will have the essential skills needed to fill entry-level positions in the multimedia/graphic design or web design fields.
