Associate of Applied Science in Accounting and Tax Specialist
Individuals who earn an associate degree in our Accounting and Tax Specialist program can explore career options in corporations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, or governmental agencies. Our hands-on training prepares learners to track and analyze transactions for an organization to determine fiscal fitness and predict future trends. Graduates will also be enhancing critical thinking skills, honing analytical processes, and examining business techniques and strategies during the program. The program includes all coursework in the management accounting program as well as four additional classes that specifically address taxation.

Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration
Individuals who are interested in acquiring a fundamental knowledge of the practical skills and various business practices used today can earn an associate degree in Business Administration in two years or less. Our program features courses in marketing, accounting, communications, and business management techniques that are proven to be effective for today's business leaders. Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice
Earning an associate degree in Criminal Justice can prepare individuals for career opportunities in corrections, private security, or law enforcement agencies in many states. With additional Police Officer Standards and Training (POST), the associate degree credential may enhance a candidate's qualifications for selection to become a peace officer in other states. The curriculum will examine current practices and influences on the American criminal justice systems and how the three branches of the government intertwine to enact, enforce, and uphold the laws of the land. Learners will also examine criminal investigation techniques, juvenile delinquency, the biological and psychological theories of crime and criminal behavior, and the future direction of public policy.

Associate of Applied Science in Interactive Media and Graphic Design
Our Interactive Media and Graphic Design associate degree program prepares students with the training and knowledge necessary to enter professions in web design, advertising firms, and other fields where effective media presentations are critical to product and brand developments. Learners will explore how page layout and color theory can enhance product publications for aesthetic appeal. Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy
Upon completion of the two-year Massage Therapy associate degree program, graduates will be prepared to sit for the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination. The program includes hands-on training in Swedish massage, hot stone/spa techniques, deep tissue/trigger points, and myofascial release routines. At the associate degree level learners will have more business and liberal arts courses to enhance their education and credentials. Graduates of the program can choose to work in chiropractic clinics, physical therapy facilities, luxury hotels or cruise ships, or independently as their own boss. The demand for licensed and certified massage therapists is expected to grow so the career opportunities will likely remain strong for individuals with the skills to help people relax in our fast-paced society.

Associate of Applied Science in Medical Administrative Assistant
Individuals who would like to become part of a professional health care team without working directly hands-on with patients can earn an associate degree in our Medical Administrative Assistant program. Students will learn medical terminology, front office procedures, and laws and ethics relating to patient's rights to privacy. Skilled assistants perform tasks that are critical to running an office such as scheduling appointments, transcribing doctors' notes, handling verbal and written communications, and billing insurance claims with the proper codes for processing.

Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assistant
Individuals who would like to be on the front line and provide direct patient care in medical facilities can earn an associate degree in our Medical Assistant program. Associate of Applied Science in Music Business
Our Music Business associate degree program focuses on the business and communication skills, audio production and promotion, and skills that are unique to the music industry to promote talent and protect artists' rights. The music industry has experienced dramatic changes in the last few years due to copyright laws, music downloads, and the business side of audio production. We update our curriculum to keep pace with the changes so graduates can have the most up-to-date information available to them. Students will get hands-on experience booking and promoting an artist and venue, as well as compiling an audio demo using industry-standard software and mixing technologies to reinforce the learning process.

*Employment as a law officer may require additional training as determined by state agencies. Our program advisors can help identify such training. The bachelor's in criminal justice degree from GU/MSB does not fulfill requirements in Minnesota, however, it does fulfill those of many other states. -

Our Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management degree program prepares individuals to become leaders that are capable of understanding the politics and policies that move or block health care initiatives and ways of designing proposals and logical presentations to support change initiatives. Courses will examine the history of past and present policies, analyze trends in market forces, and investigate different health care models that are currently in place in the United States and elsewhere. Individuals who currently hold an associate degree in a creative production area with additional credits in general education/liberal arts coursework can earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Media Business and expand their career options. Our 2+2 program allows qualifying students to advance to the third and fourth year of upper division courses that include business, technical, general education, and media-related studies. Graduates will learn the technical skills to serve various organizational needs including audio/video installation and coordination, audio engineering, video editing, graphic design, and digital imaging compositions for effective presentations based on the message and targeted audience.

Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology Management
Our Veterinary Technology Management Bachelor of Science Degree program has been designed to provide the most up-to-date training for learners so they can assist licensed veterinarians perform everything from well pet evaluations to routine surgical procedures. Many technicians are responsible for providing daily hands-on care of sick or injured animals that come into the clinic for treatment and have to stay until they are well enough to go home. Vet techs are also instrumental in educating pet owners in the proper care and feeding of their animals and performing preventative and post-treatment consultations for the owner to follow at home. Courses will provide scientific and specific knowledge of the varying needs of different species from domesticated animals to reptiles and exotics to help improve the lives of both animals and humans.
