The objective of this degree program is to provide basic knowledge and skills in areas of therapeutic massage to prepare students to pursue entry-level employment as Massage Therapists. Coursework in the program includes instruction in a variety of massage techniques and modalities, as well as basic anatomy, physiology, pathology and kinesiology. Coursework also includes introductory massage business principles and billing. The program is also designed to instruct students in legal and ethical aspects of massage.

This program includes a Licensure Examination Review course to assist students preparing to take the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEX), provided by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB). Successful completion of this exam is required in order to apply for licensure to practice massage therapy in Florida. However, the College cannot guarantee a student's eligibility to take the exam, that they will pass the exam, or become licensed by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy. Eligibility may be affected by a variety of factors, including a criminal background. It is the student's responsibility to inquire into and understand all eligibility requirements.

The objective of this program is to provide students with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to prepare students to pursue entry-level employment as Computer Network Engineers. The program is designed to prepare students with a variety of skills including troubleshooting, analyzing, designing and implementing upgrades on popular network operating systems, as well as computer maintenance and repair. Coursework is also geared towards preparing students to define, analyze and find system resolutions along with making enhancements to network operating systems.

The objective of this program is to provide students with introductory knowledge in both technical and administrative skills. The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level administrative positions such as medical office managers, executive medical administrative assistants, hospital admissions coordinators, medical record managers, and entry level administrative positions in clinics, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

This degree level program provides students with general education courses as well as program specific coursework in areas including: medical terminology, computer applications, processing of medical records, billing and insurance forms. The curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge and understanding of the health industry laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and regulatory bodies that govern the healthcare professions, such as HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO. Courses also provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate effective communication, customer relations, and organizational and administrative skills.

The objective of this degree program is to prepare students with the knowledge and technical skills to pursue entry-level employment as a Medical Office Administrator in various medical settings such as medical offices, clinics, and hospitals. The program encompasses a general understanding of the components of both Medical Assisting and Medical Coding & Billing responsibilities. Students are trained in front office procedures, such as handling patient accounts and records, word processing, and scheduling of patients. Students are also trained in back office procedures, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for medical procedures, assisting the physician with examinations and treatments, and performing selected diagnostic tests, as directed by the physician. This program also provides training in basic medical laboratory and X-ray procedures. Additionally, students are instructed in medical documentation and terminology, as well as assign and sequence diagnostic and procedural codes using universally recognized coding systems.

Prior to graduation, students are required to complete a 6 week externship course, which provides hands-on training in the field. Externship sites may require students to submit to a criminal background check, drug screen, medical examination or other requirements.

Upon graduation, students may elect to take any of the following exams offered by the National Center for Competency Training (NCCT): National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) exam and/or the National Certified Insurance and Coding Specialist (NCICS). All students take Certification Review courses at the end of the program, which are designed to assist in preparing for the exams. However, the College cannot guarantee student's eligibility to take the exam, or that they will pass the exam. This program offers a course of study that provides students with instruction in a variety of areas relevant to the health services administration field, including: billing and coding, healthcare administration and management, and clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKG, x-ray and pharmacology. The coursework also includes basic instruction in human resource management, risk and compliance management, and public relations.

Prior to graduation, students are required to complete both a capstone project and a 6 weeks externship course, which provide hands-on training in the field. Externship sites may require students to submit to a criminal background check, drug screen, medical examination or other requirements.
