The objective of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing program is to provide students with the appropriate didactic theory and hands-on skills required to prepare them for nursing positions in health care centers, clinics and facilities.

Nursing students take classes in:

• Ethical Legal Aspects of Nursing and Health Care
• Pharmacology in Nursing
• Pathophysiology for Nursing Practice
• Nursing Informatics
• Community/Public Health Nursing
• Nursing Research
• Nursing Roles - Management and Leadership
• Nursing Roles - Management and Leadership Clinical
• Professional Nursing Role Synthesis

Students also have the opportunity to practice their skills in the clinical skills lab.

Nursing Career Opportunities
After completing the program, nursing students will be prepared to take the NCLEX-RN exam. After passing the exam, the individual may use the title of Registered Nurse.

The Bachelor of Applied Management integrates the technical knowledge gained through a diploma program or applied science degree with coursework designed to prepare students for leadership roles in their chosen fields. The curriculum emphasizes the critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to solve problems in a complex work environment. The program is open to those who have earned an approved certificate, diploma, AS, or AAS degree in a field of applied science.

The Criminal Justice bachelor's degree program teaches the skills necessary to maintain law and order, protect life and property, and conduct administration, planning, and research services for public, government, law enforcement and private security agencies. It is designed to prepare you for a career in corrections, criminology, immigration or security administration.
