Our associate degree in Billing and Coding Specialist program can teach students a general overview of health care and health insurance billing procedures. Training includes learning the universal codes for procedures, instruction for organizing and maintaining medical records, and processing insurance claims. Graduates can also learn medical office administrative duties.

The Medical Assisting: Administrative associate degree program provides entry-level training in the knowledge and skills to perform various administrative tasks in medical facilities. Students can become familiar with front office procedures including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and insurance billing procedures. Learners should also gain confidence in their training and abilities as they complete a supervised externship to practice what they have learned.

Pharmacy Technologists generally perform many hands-on duties such as ordering and tracking inventory, stocking the supplies, packaging and preparing prescriptions, and processing insurance claims. Graduates can seek positions in many health care settings from retail stores to hospitals after completing this program.
