In the Medical Massage Therapy program, students can learn human anatomy, physiology, and pathology in relation to soft tissue injury and treatment. Hands-on training in Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, sports massage, deep tissue massage, chair massage, and reflexology help reinforce the skills being taught. Students can also gain knowledge of body mechanics for injury prevention, education in proper nutrition, stress management techniques, CPR certification, and first aid training.
