Earning a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a Human Services emphasis may prepare hard-working students for various social and human services careers from corrections, domestic shelters, or juvenile justice facilities in the context of the criminal justice system. Courses will cover corrections solutions, child and adolescent psychopathology, and ethics and practices for human services counselors with a special emphasis on working with youth. Within the program at no additional cost graduates can earn five Academic Certificates: Corrections Technician, Juvenile Delinquency and Victim Services, Domestic Violence Interventions, Chemical Dependency Counseling, and Legal Studies and Court Process to possibly enhance credentials and earning potential.
