Carrington College California has an Architectural Design Drafting program is designed to help the dedicated learner be able to arm themselves with the skills necessary for an entry-level design drafter career, or CADD operator as it is also known. The motivated student will work to gain the ability to use the industry customary 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, and Revit. This program can serve as an entry point to other careers with graphics if the students are willing to apply themselves to the tasks required. The enthusiastic student will be sure to work hard to gain all possible form the 2 point outlook of manual drafting series. Successful graduates of this program will work to gain the skills needed to generate designs for architectural engineering plans as well as structural engineering ventures by utilizing CAD software that fits industry standards.
