The purpose of Argosy University's Advanced Educational Administration programs is to prepare individuals to serve as school administrators in advanced positions. The programs are designed for practicing educators who have already completed a graduate-level program from a regionally accredited institution and currently hold principal or initial administrative licensure.

The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership Program is for those students preparing for or advancing their careers as educational leaders in professional positions as school district, regional, state, or national administrators. The EdD in Educational Leadership Program requires concentrations in Higher Education Administration or K-12 Education.

The purpose of Argosy University's Initial Educational Administration programs is to prepare individuals to serve as school principals and/or building-level administrators. The programs are designed for practicing educators who have already completed a graduate-level program from a regionally accredited institution or an appropriately certified foreign institution, and seeking administrative licensure at the initial or K-12 level.

The EdD in Instructional Leadership Program is for those students who wish to master teaching methodologies, become curriculum supervisors, or become educational leaders with curriculum and instruction at their main focus. Students must choose one of the following areas of concentration; Higher Education, K-12 Education and Education Technology. Not all concentrations are available at all campuses.

The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership Program is designed to meet the special requirements of working professionals who wish to develop their knowledge and skills to handle the changing needs of modern organizations. The Organizational Leadership Program focuses on the qualities of transformational leadership, not just managerial attributes. This approach enables the faculty members to dedicate themselves to preparing students to lead complex organizations faced with an abundance of strategic challenges, such as increasing globalization, changing economies, societal shifts, and individual-organizational relationships.

The Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology Program educates and trains students in the major aspects of clinical practice. To ensure that students are prepared adequately, the curriculum integrates theory, training, research, and practice, preparing students to work with a wide range of populations in need of psychological services and in a broad range of roles. Students who complete the clinical psychology program earn a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree. The PsyD degree combines relevant research, applied theory, and field experience to prepare the graduate to apply psychological knowledge in a variety of settings and roles. The program accepts students who have a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Although prior degrees need not be in psychology, some psychology courses are required (as prerequisites for admission), and some experience in psychological services is desirable.

The Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy program is a terminal degree designed for candidates seeking a non-traditional doctorate. The focus of this degree is on clinical and community-based practice which differentiates it from the Ph.D. and makes it attractive to anyone who is seeking a practitioner versus a research degree. The program provides opportunities for advanced, cross-disciplinary study with couples, individuals, and families as well as larger systems of organizations and communities, with emphases on systemic theory, practice, and research.

The program is designed for practicing educators who have already completed a graduate-level program from a regionally accredited institution or an appropriately certified foreign institution, and seeking administrative licensure at the initial or K-12 level.

The Education Specialist in Instructional Leadership Program enables experienced teachers to become more competent practitioners and educational leaders with instruction as their focus. This program is designed for either career advancement or graduate preparation for students who are already working toward a doctorate. Students may choose an optional concentration in K-12 Education.
