The Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology Program is designed pursue a career in clinical psychology. The program introduces students to basic clinical skills that enable them to serve the mental health needs of populations with diverse backgrounds. Students who use the master's degree as a means of entering a professional career receive theoretical background and professional training under the supervision of a highly qualified, practitioner-oriented faculty. The graduates of this program are then able to apply theoretical and clinical knowledge to individuals and groups in need of mental healthcare. The program can also serve as a preliminary step to the doctorate degree. In certain states, students holding an MA in Clinical Psychology are eligible to sit for licensure.

Argosy University's Master of Arts (MA) in Marriage & Family Therapy Program provides graduate-level training in the core curricular areas, including supervised clinical practice, required for licensure as a marriage and family therapist in the state in which the program is located. Licensing requirements differ from state to state, so students should verify the current licensing requirements of the state in which they plan to become licensed. Currently, the MA in Marriage & Family Therapy Program is offered at Argosy University, Honolulu, Argosy University, Sarasota, Argosy University, Tampa, and Argosy University, Twin Cities. Argosy University, Twin Cities offers students an optional concentration in Forensic Counseling within the program.

The Master of Arts (MA) in School Psychology Program is dedicated to producing ethical, responsible, and competent school psychologists who are able to function effectively in a number of professional roles. During their graduate training, students develop core competencies in psychological assessment, intervention, consultation/education, as well as cultural and individual diversity. Graduates of the program may be eligible for Department of Education certification and will be prepared to be employed as school psychologists. The program is designed to prepare students to become Nationally Certified School Psychologists in accordance with criteria developed by the National Association of School Psychologists. Currently, the Master of Arts in School Psychology is only offered at Argosy University, Honolulu, Argosy University, Phoenix, and Argosy University, Sarasota.

The Master of Arts in Education in Adult Education and Training program is designed for the working professional associated with adult learning, training, or staff development. The goal of the program is to enhance the knowledge and skills in the area of adult learning for employment and other organizational settings.

The program is an excellent fit for those seeking to work as: a training specialist in business, government, and/or other private or public organizations; or an instructional specialist providing basic skills and/or specialized instruction for adult learners in community and educational settings.

The Higher and Postsecondary Education programs are designed for individuals who seek administrative and other positions in non-instructional units at higher education and postsecondary institutions. Graduates of these programs will have enhanced practical skills, knowledge, and experiences as professionals and leaders in universities, colleges, and postsecondary educational institutions.

Based on state requirements, students may be required to complete additional experiences or coursework. Candidates should check with their state's education division to ensure eligibility of graduates for professional licensing.

A bachelor's degree is required for admission to this program.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program at Argosy University is designed to prepare you for possible careers in the field of public health. The Master of Public Health is a professional degree designed to provide healthcare and other professionals with an understanding of the public health sciences, population-based research, and the community practice of public health. In addition, you will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills that can be used in healthcare policy development and management.

The program is designed to prepare its graduates for leadership roles in a variety of private, public, and regulatory agencies, in for-profit and not-for-profit health organizations, and in health services research. The Public Health degree program seeks qualified applicants with clearly identified career goals that are consistent with the anticipated academic preparation.

The Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychopharmacology program incorporates coursework and clinical practice to comprehensively train postdoctoral psychologists to prescribe medications independently, appropriately, effectively, and safely. It is a 32-credit-hour program with a practicum component requiring treatment of 100 patients. Upon successful completion of the program, students will have the education and experience to prescribe psychopharmacological medications consistent with state and federal laws, and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers in order to coordinate care. Applicants to the program should currently have a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree.
