Earning a Master of Arts (MA) in Community Counseling degree through our program prepares students to practice professional counseling in our socially and culturally diverse communities. Students will learn basic counseling skills as they build on the theoretical foundations required by professional counselors to work responsibly and ethically with their clients. The Master of Arts (MA) in Forensic Psychology Program is designed to educate and train individuals who are currently functioning, or wish to be trained to function, in fields that utilize the study and practice of forensic psychology. The curriculum provides for an understanding of theory, training, and practice of forensic psychology. The program emphasizes the development of students who are committed to the ethical provision of quality services to diverse clients and organizations. The program maintains policies and delivery formats suitable for working adults. The MA in Forensic Psychology Program provides coursework in forensic psychology for application to law enforcement, legal and organizational consultation, and program analysis.

Argosy University's Master of Arts (MA) in Marriage & Family Therapy Program provides graduate-level training in the core curricular areas, including supervised clinical practice, required for licensure as a marriage and family therapist in the state in which the program is located. Licensing requirements differ from state to state, so students should verify the current licensing requirements of the state in which they plan to become licensed. Currently, the MA in Marriage & Family Therapy Program is offered at Argosy University, Honolulu, Argosy University, Sarasota, Argosy University, Tampa, and Argosy University, Twin Cities. Argosy University, Twin Cities offers students an optional concentration in Forensic Counseling within the program.

Argosy University recognizes the need to provide human services providers with the extensive knowledge and range of skills necessary to function effectively in their profession. Programs have been developed by Argosy University faculty members to enable working professional to pursue their personal and professional goals through completion of a master's program. The Master of Arts in School Counseling program focuses on student preparation and professional development. The completion of the program will permit students to request a transcript review by the Florida Department of Education for certification in Guidance and Counseling (grades K-12) in the state of Florida.

The Master of Arts (MA) in School Psychology Program is dedicated to producing ethical, responsible, and competent school psychologists who are able to function effectively in a number of professional roles. During their graduate training, students develop core competencies in psychological assessment, intervention, consultation/education, as well as cultural and individual diversity. Graduates of the program may be eligible for Department of Education certification and will be prepared to be employed as school psychologists. The program is designed to prepare students to become Nationally Certified School Psychologists in accordance with criteria developed by the National Association of School Psychologists. Currently, the Master of Arts in School Psychology is only offered at Argosy University, Honolulu, Argosy University, Phoenix, and Argosy University, Sarasota.

The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Educational Leadership Program prepares educational leaders to improve policies and practices within organizations. The curriculum, geared to increase students' understanding of educational organizations, includes educational law, educational finance, organizational communication, human resource management, supervision of instruction, and organizational management related to education administration.

The Higher and Postsecondary Education programs are designed for individuals who seek administrative and other positions in non-instructional units at higher education and postsecondary institutions. Graduates of these programs will have enhanced practical skills, knowledge, and experiences as professionals and leaders in universities, colleges, and postsecondary educational institutions.

Based on state requirements, students may be required to complete additional experiences or coursework. Candidates should check with their state's education division to ensure eligibility of graduates for professional licensing.

A bachelor's degree is required for admission to this program.

The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Teaching and Learning program is designed to prepare graduates for responsible roles as leaders in the field of education. The foundation courses of the MAEd program include an array of subjects oriented toward the challenges and problems encountered in a modern educational environment. This program DOES NOT lead to teacher or administrator certification, licensure, or endorsement in any State in the United States.

The Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology is designed to apply the knowledge of industrial organizational psychology to issues involving individuals and groups in organizational and work settings. This program prepares students for careers in areas such as compensation, training, data analysis, consultation, statistical decision making, organizational development, leadership, and human resource management positions. The curriculum is competency-based, focusing on the outcomes of training and on the knowledge, skills, and behavior necessary to function as a master's level professional in Industrial Organizational Psychology. This is an interdisciplinary program that combines the expertise of the faculty in the Colleges of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences and Business.
