Students who earn a diploma as a Medical Assistant will be trained how to become a vital part of any medical office. Students will be trained in fundamental diagnostic techniques, office and laboratory procedures, and how to interact with patients and doctors in the office. Many medical assistants are responsible to prepare patients for the doctor by taking vital signs, updating medical records, and performing lab tests.

Diploma - Medical Billing & Coding
The Medical Billing & Coding diploma program will teach students about human anatomy and physiology and common diseases. Courses provide an introduction to medical terminology and pharmacology. Students will learn basic coding definitions, how to apply those codes to medical documentation, and how to process insurance claims. Within the program is an opportunity to do an externship in a medical office or a hospital.
