BS - Criminal Justice
Prepare for or enhance your career in law enforcement on-line or in a traditional classroom setting, in the Criminal Justice program at Virginia College where technology meets law enforcement. Virginia College's bachelor degree in Criminal Justice is offered online and on campus (or a combination of both) to fit the busy schedules of today's students. BS - Health Services Management
This program is designed for the individual who wishes to complete a health-based interdisciplinary studies Bachelor of Science degree on a full-time or part-time basis for upward career mobility or to respond to employer requests for broadened health-services skills. This degree will support an expanded professional role with stronger communication skills, enhanced assessment skills, and the ability to better understand and respond to an increasingly diverse community.
Students enrolled in the program choose from an array of daytime and evening courses. A maximum of 90 credits can be transferred. Graduates may find mid-level management positions in healthcare organizations including hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory care centers, and home health agencies.
In response to the needs of the healthcare industry, graduates of this program should be able to
_ demonstrate eligibility for management positions in the health services industry;
_ write and speak effectively, read and listen critically, and handle learning resources effectively;
_ interpret and analyze healthcare and historical data;

BS - Human Resource Management
Human resource management majors gain the flexibility to apply their skills in a variety of management settings.
While enrolled in this program of study, you will focus on the various aspects of the recruitment, selection, training, and development of employees within an organization. After graduating from this program, you can expect to be qualified to enter entry-level positions within a human resource department. The core classes in human resource management-related fields are complemented by general education offerings that add breadth and depth to the curriculum.
