Our certificate in Medical Claims and Billing allows students the opportunity to maintain and organize the medical information processed through hospitals and private practices. Students can gain the knowledge and skills necessary to start in this expanding field.

After earning a certificate in Medical Coding, graduates will be responsible for assigning specific, standardized codes to medical procedures and services. In addition to identifying the procedure or service performed, the codes also help determine how much the healthcare provider will be reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid, and private and public insurance companies.

When students finish the Medical Transcription program, they will be trained for success. Students in this program will be prepared to transfer medical information into hard documentation. This program will also train students in many other tasks that doctors need assistance with.
