CAGS-Bus/Project Management
Our Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Project Management program focuses on methods and techniques to improve organizational effectiveness and reach peak performance goals based on the Earned Values measurement of accomplishment. Learners will become proficient in planning strategies, budgeting for materials and labor, and monitoring projects from conception to completion. Prospective students should hold a master's degree prior to enrolling in this 18-credit hour program that can also transfer directly into a doctoral program at NCU.

The Doctor's in Business Administration - Project Management will allow students to explore the principles, concepts, tools, and techniques needed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness within an organization. Learners will look at all the components of managing and overseeing business projects, including budget management, cost estimates, risk assessment, bid negotiation and contracts, and much more. Project Management will particularly focus on management and leadership skills and the strategies to successfully managing many projects. Learners will complete a final written research project to prove that they have learned how to identify workplace problems, critique, justify, and recommend preventative actions.

Prospective students should currently hold a bachelor's degree and can complete the master's program in approximately 2 years.

Courses are grounded in research and customized for maximum professional impact for graduates who aspire to become collaborative change agents within their organization. Prospective students must meet certain prerequisite requirements such as a bachelor's or master's degree or relevant work experience prior to enrolling.
