The Associate in Science in Paralegal program prepares students — under the direct supervision of an attorney — for entry-level work as paralegals in law offices or corporate legal departments. Students become familiar with the terminology, policies and procedures of common legal instruments such as contracts, wills, real estate documents and legal correspondence. Graduates may learn basic skills to interview, gather, review, and analyze factual situations; research the law; prepare and interpret legal documents; conduct day-to-day operations of a legal office, and more.
