Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice: Human Services
Earning a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a Human Services emphasis will prepare students for entry level positions in various social and human services settings from corrections, domestic shelters, or juvenile justice facilities in the context of the criminal justice system. Courses will cover corrections solutions, child and adolescent psychopathology, and ethics and practices for human services counselors with a special emphasis on working with youth. Within the program at no additional cost graduates can earn five Academic Certificates: Corrections Technician, Juvenile Delinquency and Victim Services, Domestic Violence Interventions, Chemical Dependency Counseling, and Legal Studies and Court Process to enhance their credentials and earning potential.
