Program Programs in Veterinary are designed to boost students' skills in the field and move them ahead in their careers. Starting with foundational courses in Health, most programs then move into a specialization in Veterinary.
Veterinarians should love animals and be able to get along with them and their owners. In order to be certified individuals must have attended an accredited program and be licenses with the state. Approximately 80 percent of veterinarians work in private practices and they work with individuals, zoos, and labs in order to promote the health of these animals while also researching in order to try and prevent and eliminate diseases affecting pets. They're also responsible for diagnosing conditions in pets, giving vaccinations, treating and dressing wounds, set fractures, performing surgeries, and advising owners on a number of topics.
