Receiving a bachelor’s degree in Corrections enables students to maintain security, oversee individuals who are awaiting trial or serving time, and prevent inmates from harming each other or themselves. Correctional officers monitor the activities of inmates and investigate crimes committed within their institutions.
This program provides students with hands on experience and thorough casework so that they are ready to enter the work force upon graduation, which takes approximately 3-4 years.
