Most people think it is very sad that about 50% of marriages end in divorce. It is sad to look at marriage in that light, i.e. half of everyone you know who is married will get divorced unfortunately. On a brighter note though, half of the population that thinks they are right for marriage are! That means 50% of the people you know will actually abide by the matrimony saying “Til Death Do Us Part.” This statistic can be looked at negatively, or it can be looked at positively. With every person alive having so many quirks and weird habits, it is a miracle two humans can actually last that long together.
Don’t get me wrong, it is sad that every other marriage that occurs will end through the legal system in a divorce, but at the same time I don’t want to always look at statistics and think doom and gloom. Like it is said in the Dark Knight, "The night is always darkest before the dawn."
