Sports injuries are so hard. They happen when we are playing a game we most likely love, and they can prevent us from playing for weeks or months. This may be a frustrating time, but it is important you do not try to rush your recovery. Even sport’s stars cannot heal any quicker than you or I. Most injuries you get playing sports are injuries that are easily aggravated and will act up if you do not let them heal properly. In addition to the pain of aggravating your pre-existing injury, it may push your fully healed time back even further, or worse you may never be able to play again. So take the time to heal properly.
If you follow baseball at all, you know that the All-Star Game is coming up. Ironically, many of the game’s top athletes, like Dodger’s closer Broxson, bounce out from this event, citing some sort of injury. Normally, I would just say they are simply being weak, and they get paid so much money, the least they could do is play an extra all-star game, however, after doing the above research I realized that if they are even slightly hurting, there is no point aggravating an injury to play in a game that doesn’t mean anything. So this year I won’t be ragging on any of them.
