Many US companies have their products manufactured in Puerto Rico, particularly companies in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and technology industries. Another important part of Puerto Rico's economy is tourism. About five million tourists visit the territory every year. Other major products of Puerto Rico include sugar and rum.
