Are you ready to get back on the right educational track? Is it time to take your future into your own hands and so something positive? Then it's time to get your high school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma or General Equivalency Degree).
The GED is a series of five subject tests including: writing, reading, math, science, and social studies. When taking the test, you have to score at least 60 percent on the test to pass. The GED is equal to a high school diploma received in the United States or Canada. The sole creator of the GED is the American Council on Education. The test must be taken in person at a certificated testing center (3400 around the world). Testing centers are generally located on community college campuses in the United States. The test is not available online. According to the American Council on Education, 98 percent of colleges and universities in the United States accept the GED diploma, as well as a high school diploma, because not everyone has a high school diploma. The test generally costs from $10 to $75 to take.
