For individuals that love working with children and helping them learn and develop skills that will serve as a foundation for the rest of their lives, they should consider early childhood education. What children do and do not learn at an early age effects what their life will be like in the future. So it's important for children to have teachers that are dedicated and willing to help them learn the basics.

Early childhood educators typically work with children between the ages of three and seven. And in class they generally focus on the child’s early education which also includes nutrition, health, and other needs. But before they can become educators they have to graduate from a program. Graduates of the early childhood education program typically work with children as preschool, kindergarten, or even first grade teachers. Teachers are not only responsible for the children, but also keeping in contact with the student's parents to ensure that the child is progressing and the teacher may even need to suggest ways that parents can help their children learn while they're at home.
