The study of Gerontology explores the issues confronting an aging American society through social, biological, and psychological issues beyond the aging process. By learning about these issues confronting our aging population professionals can apply this knowledge to implement policies and programs that can impact the quality of life of our elders as they transition into retirement or personal transformations. Program lengths can take 1 to 3 years depending on the type of diploma or degree options.
