Associate - Medical Assistant

Earning an associate degree to become a Medical Assistant can prepare students with the clinical and administrative skills to train them to become a valued member of a medical team. Training includes how to assist the doctor by taking vital signs, assisting with physical exams, and updating patients' charts. Administrative skills include learning advanced computer skills in MS Office and medical software used for accounting and scheduling appointments. Graduates can gain certification as a Registered Medical Assistant along with other certifications such as CPR, transcription, and basic first aid.
