The field of health care and nursing is the fastest growing industry in the United States. As such, health care and nursing professionals are in high demand. Health-related programs include biomedical engineering, counseling, dental assisting, health care administration, medical assisting, medical billing, as well as a variety of nursing degrees. Health and nursing degrees vary in length and are available online as well as on campus. Typically, associate degrees take eighteen months to two years to complete, bachelor's degrees three to four years, and master's degrees one to two years (following completion of a bachelor's degree).
