Associate - Health Information Technology

The associate degree in Health Information Technology program prepares students for entry-level employment opportunities as medical information coders, insurance specialists, insurance processors, and other medical administrative positions. Students will perform the techniques of uniform billing practices using the standardized codes for diagnoses and procedures in medical facilities. Graduates of the program will have learned how to use the industry recognized word processing software and the computer applications widely used for maximum career options.
