Students can earn an associate degree in Computer Information Systems in 80 weeks to learn to implement mission-critical networks for the technological needs of many companies. Specialized courses can provide training in integration and system design, security analysis and deployment, and database development for network administration. Training also includes preparation for the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), CompTIA's A+, and Linux+ certifications which are industry standard exams that may improve employment options.
