Associate of Science (AS) in Radiation Therapy

Argosy University offers an Associate of Science (AS) in Radiation Therapy Program. The mission of the program is to provide the medical community with entry-level radiation therapists by providing them with knowledge and technical skills, a broad-based general education, and an understanding of, and compassion for, cancer patients and their families. Radiation Therapists prepare patients for radiation treatment, position patients under a linear accelerator, and administer pre-prescribed doses of ionizing radiation to specific parts of the body. They may also assist in treatment planning, patient support and care, and brachytherapy.
