Certificate - Patient Care Technician
Patient Care Technicians, upon graduation, will have the opportunity to work in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, long-term care facilities, assisted-living facilities, and nursing homes. They will work as part of a team with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals in order to help treat and care for patients. Graduates of this certificate program will use their knowledge and training in order to perform their duties, which may include helping feed and dress patients, checking their blood pressure and other vitals, responding to patient needs, and recording treatment.
