Certificate - Dental Assistant
Dental Assistants perform a number of duties in a dentist's office. They are responsibile for clerical tasks along with preparing patients for the dentist's examination, chair-side duties, operating X-ray machines, sterilizing instruments and mixing compounds. Because this job requires so many skills, course work will be very broad. Graduates will be able to find work in private offices, public health departments, clinics, hospitals, and dental schools.
