Career training programs are designed to help students obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for a particular job. Career-specific programs include aircraft and automotive technology, dental assisting, massage therapy, hospitality and travel, surveying, and plumbing technology. While narrower in scope than traditional degrees, vocational career training programs are generally more structured for a specific profession and seek to provide students focused training in that field.
Career training programs vary in length (from several weeks to a couple of years) and may be available online as well as on campus.
