Grants

Scholarships
An award of access, or a financial aid award for an individual student scholar, for the purpose of furthering their education. These are awarded based on criteria which usually reflect the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award.
Student Loans
Funds loaned to students to assist students in paying school-related expenses, usually carrying a lower interest rate than other loans and typically issued by the government
Work Study
A structured method of combining secondary education with practical work experience designed to help students make the important school-to-work transition, participate in service learning, and meet experiential learning initiatives
Private Loans
Funds loaned to students by private lenders, with no federal forms to complete, to bridge the gap between the actual cost of education and the limited amount the government allows students to borrow in its programs
Military
Funds, commonly known as the GI Bill, granted to eligible veterans of the armed forces to pay for school-related expenses; bill benefits cover only about three-fifths of the average cost of a college education, with about a third of eligible veterans failing to use their benefits.
Tuition Reimbursement
Provides eligible employees with the opportunity to maintain or improve their professional capabilities through study at accredited institutions with part or all of expense being paid by the employer
