At CTU, resume-enhancing Professional Certificates are built into nearly every degree program without additional courses required. You will earn these stepping-stones incrementally as you make your way through your chosen degree program and prepare for a career. Professional Certificates empower you to add meaningful credentials to your job qualifications as you have the opportunity to learn and gain new skills in business, technology and other career fields. Many CTU degree programs provide students with the in-depth knowledge of project management that can be invaluable to their careers. Much of our program content has been reviewed by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and found to be relevant and consistent with the knowledge and process areas described in the Guide to Project Management Book of Knowledge.
Doctor of Computer Science in Enterprise Information Systems - Executive Format
The Doctor of Computer Science with a concentration in Enterprise Information Systems at Colorado Technical University's Institute for Advanced Studies is designed to develop people into leaders in designing, implementing and managing large-scale systems in their chosen professional area. Each year of this three-year program is designed to provide candidates with the theoretical, research, and application capabilities necessary to pursue a successful career in their chosen field. The key objectives of the degree program are to help students become familiar with the body of knowledge regarding enterprise information systems as well as models such as CMMI and the Baldridge Process; effectively communicate technical material to non-technical decision makers; and manage the IT implementation process, testing and user training. The DCS-EIS degree program is taught in an executive format, combining online instruction with intensive residential sessions, each lasting four days at the CTU Colorado Springs campus.
